Illustrations of Rockwell Kent

Regarded as the finest American book illustrator of the 1920s and 30s, Rockwell Kent (1882-1971) provided art editions of such novels as Candide, Moby Dick, The Canterbury Tales, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, as well as such lesser known works as A Basket of Poses and Venus and Adonis . He also provided drawings for Vanity Fair, Life, and Harper's Weekly .
