The march ended when British Army paratroopers fired on the demonstrators, killing thirteen and wounding another who died 4 months later. Nominated for a **BAFTA Award** for Best Actor. Winner for Best World Cinema at the **Sundance Film Festival**. Nominated for Best Foreign Film at the **Film Independent Spirit Awards**.
